Position Purpose
Lead and subject matter expert for the new employee time tracking initiative at Bristol Meyers Squibb Information Technology group. The individual will have administrator responsibilities of the tool, be responsible for delivering time and financial reporting data and for the any future solution development to the tool and associated processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure core data used by the tool is accurate and current; lead role in identifying and resolving issues as they occur.
* Ensure submitted time sheet data is compliant with established rules; lead role in resolving issues as they are found.
* Take the lead role in the identification and implementation of solutions to the tool and associated processes as issues arise.
* Take on the lead role in change management sessions and training of time tracking initiative to other associates.
* Enable the continuous development of the reporting dashboards; work will encompass partnering in the design and implementation of the data visualization reports (Power Bi).
* Lead the potential expansion of the initiative by engaging with PMO, IT Finance & other groups as needed.
Experience & Knowledge
* Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and a proven ability to manipulate data.
* Experience in delivering projects to completion, either independently or leading a team.
* Experience working with large data sets.
* Experience with data analytics platforms.
* Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and continuously changing work environment.
* Knowledge of financial principles.
* Ability to identify key influencers and can persuade and negotiate effectively to drive outcomes.
* Ability to work with deadlines as it relates to monthly financial closing.
Ideal candidates would also have
* Knowledge of accounting rules as it relates to IT and SDLC.
* Familiarity with project management principles.
* Experience in a multi-cultural work environment.
* Ability to make decisions that will have impact to other groups.
