Job Description
One of our customers is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Commercial Lawyer to join the legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders across the business, advising on a broad range of commercial, contractual and data protection matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier agreements, service agreements, and other complex contractual arrangements.
* Provide clear and practical legal advice on commercial and contract law matters across the business.
* Support the business on data protection and privacy matters, including compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and provide commercially focused solutions.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of contract templates, policies and internal guidance.
* Manage and prioritise multiple legal requests while ensuring deadlines and business needs are met.
Requirements
* UK-qualified lawyer with strong experience in commercial and contract law.
* Demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
* Solid understanding of data protection and privacy frameworks.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate legal concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
