Vehicle Rental Manager Required, in Farnham:

Our client, a well-established Vehicle Rental Company based in Farnham, is actively recruiting for a Vehicle Rental Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join a thriving independent organisation, overseeing daily operations and contributing to its ongoing growth.

* Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm, with alternate Saturdays required
* Leadership position overseeing all branch activities

Duties:
* Oversee all daily branch operations including rentals, returns, reservations, and customer service
* Manage, train, and recruit branch staff, embodying the leadership qualities expected of a Vehicle Rental Manager
* Achieve sales targets, improve profit margins, and meet KPIs
* Liaise with workshop staff to optimise fleet utilisation
* Control costs and handle payments, taking responsibility for P&L
* Maintain vehicle fleet, including conducting deliveries and collections
* Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, UK regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Vehicle Rental Management or a similar leadership role within the Motor Trade or Vehicle Hire Sector
* Currently operating in a comparable position or as an assistant branch manager seeking career progression into a Vehicle Rental Manager role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Local personnel within approximately 20 miles of Farnham are preferred for stability and longevity
* Full UK driving licence
