Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the successful operation of Customs team systems and audit dashboards.
2. Advise on and support compliance of import activities and Broker KPI reporting.
3. Maintain full compliance with HMRC, Border Force, and other relevant regulations.
4. Develop and maintain Customs audit and Excise reporting to provide high-quality service to stakeholders.
5. Manage import/export processes, shipments, and system issues.
6. Conduct quarterly internal audits and prepare reports on departmental performance.
7. Ensure accurate and timely declarations in Customs systems.
8. Plan and manage import/export projects and ad hoc events.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in International Trade Compliance or equivalent; customs qualifications to advanced level preferred.
* Experience with HMRC, Customs compliance, and audit processes.
* Technical knowledge of SAP GTS, MicroStrategy, and data interfaces.
* Experience with customs bonded warehousing, excise, and trade strategies, especially in retail/FMCG sectors.
