Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire
Contract Details: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)
(Hybrid: Office Tuesday-Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

As the Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in the finance team by:
Purchase Ledger:
Processing supplier invoices
Handling invoice and payment queries
Performing BACS payment runs
Reconciling supplier statementsSales Ledger:
Generating invoice runs
Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
Resolving customer queries
Reconciling the debtor's ledgerCashflows & Banking:
Posting and reconciling bank statements, including multicurrency transactions
Maintaining and updating cashflow recordsAdditional Duties:
Reviewing monthly PVA statements and ensuring export documentation is provided
Setting up new customer and vendor accounts
Processing employee expensesEssential skills:
Previous experience in a finance/accounts role
Strong understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes
Familiarity with multicurrency banking and reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaborativelyDesirable skills:
Experience with Microsoft Business Central is preferredPlease note that, due to the client's location, candidates must have access to their own vehicle and be able to drive. You should also live within a reasonable commuting distance.
