About the opportunity:
Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for leadership and first-class customer support? We’re looking for a Technology Support Team Leader to play a key role in managing and mentoring our IT Helpdesk team, ensuring that our colleagues have secure, reliable, and efficient technology at their fingertips.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the IT Helpdesk, ensuring service requests are prioritised and resolved effectively.
* Lead, support and mentor our IT Support Engineers.
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring colleagues across the business feel supported and empowered by IT.
* Manage disaster recovery, data security, and routine IT operations (backups, virus protection, system health checks).
* Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and directors to align IT services with business needs.
* Support budgeting, licensing renewals, and deliver IT projects that make a real impact.
Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar role delivering 2nd line support and assisting with 3rd line tasks.
* Strong troubleshooting, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, O365, Azure, and telephone systems (Five9 & Mitel)
Desirable experience:
* Financial Services (Insurance) background with an understanding of Open GI, Acturis or CDL.
* Experience collaborating with external/outsourced partners to deliver services.
* ISO 27001 certified
* ITIL qualification
* Azure Administration experience
