SEN Teaching Assistant – Re-Engagement Focus
Location: South Shields
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
This SEN Teaching Assistant role supports pupils who are rebuilding their relationship with education.
You’ll help pupils feel safe, valued and capable, supporting both learning and emotional development in a structured, inclusive setting.
The role includes:
• Supporting pupils with SEN in lessons
• Encouraging engagement and attendance
• Supporting behaviour using positive strategies
• Building strong, trusting relationships
• Celebrating progress, however small

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
