Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured correctly while adhering to quality standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively to meet production targets.
* Assemble products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
* Monitor production processes and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist in the packing and dispatching of finished goods.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to production processes.
Experience
* Previous experience in a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment is essential .
* Familiarity with operating sheet machinery and tools is also essential and a knowledge of welding steel sections and sheet is beneficial.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
