About the Role As our Tenant & Community Engagement Manager, you will take a proactive, visible and influential lead in driving forward our engagement ambitions. You will: • Lead the development and delivery of our Tenant & Community Engagement Strategy, ensuring tenants’ voices shape the services we deliver. • Design and implement innovative community projects and programmes that enhance wellbeing, opportunity and inclusion. • Strengthen partnership working across the region — from local authorities to community groups, funders, employability providers and third-sector organisations. • Work closely with our subsidiary CFRC, identifying new ways of working together to support communities and develop business opportunities. • Support and guide our Tenant Participation Officer and ensure high quality engagement, consultation and participation across the organisation. • Oversee funded programmes, community benefit initiatives and social value reporting, ensuring high standards of governance and performance. • Represent CHA at key forums, networks and partnership meetings — positioning the Association as a proactive, community focused leader. • Contribute to strategic priorities as part of CHA’s Leadership Team, ensuring our work aligns with the Business Plan and regulatory requirements. You will need to be: A relationship builder You’ll be confident engaging with tenants, partners, funders, stakeholders, and community groups — and skilled at creating collaborative, trusting relationships. A leader who can inspire and influence You’ll guide staff, contribute to strategic decisions, and lead programmes that make a real and measurable difference. Experienced in community engagement You’ve previously worked in roles involving participation, community development, partnership working or local service improvement. Strong in planning, delivery and evaluation You understand how to manage projects, budgets, performance, reporting and funder requirements — and you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities. Creative and solutions focused You’ll bring fresh ideas, try new approaches, and proactively respond to the changing needs of our tenants and communities.
