We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and highly commercial Operations Director to lead both the day-to-day operations and long-term growth of our AnatomyStuff brand. The COO will be responsible for continuing to grow profitability through optimising existing operations and identifying and exploiting new opportunities.
You will have top-line responsibility for all products, customer service teams and processes, warehouse and operation processes, both domestic and international. Your job will be to build on our existing operational framework by developing and implementing strategies to optimize/improve processes and achieve operational goals. Success will be measured by improved efficiency, service delivery, and growth of revenue and profitability. You will report into the CEO and have line responsibility for Customer Services, Operations and Finance functions, with additional input into Sales, Marketing and Creative Team functions. The successful applicant will take pride in building, leading and mentoring their team, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment. The successful candidate will have proven success in a similar role, preferably in the health and or/ medical device sector. Key responsibilities Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve organisational goals. Enhance service delivery and product margins through optimisation of the supply chain. Ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting of operational performance, identifying and implementing improvements. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing operations and customer service team, providing guidance and support in achieving individual and team goals. Implement and maintain processes to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations. Proactive relationship-building with key suppliers and customers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and new opportunities, especially relating to the public sector, to realise new business opportunities and implement best practice.
Requirements Minimum three years’ experience in a similar operational role with proven success, including warehouse/DC management. Deep desire and commitment to serving our customers, staff and the wider community. Astute commercial thinking and proven decision-making skills. Strategic and driven to improve processes and get results. Exceptional people manager with ability to bring people along on journey of growth and improvement.
