Location: Tunbridge Wells
Contract Type: Permanent, On site Monday - Friday 8.30-5pm, with an hour lunch

Our reputable client is looking for a talented Control Panel CAD Engineer to help bring their projects to life. If you have a passion for CAD/Engineering and are looking for a role with training and in-house support to start your career and bring your knowledge to life, look no further!
What You'll Do:
1. Gain an understanding of points lists, components, electrical standards, and company standards.
2. Use design software to produce 2D / 3D wiring diagrams.
3. Attend preliminary meetings to understand the project specifications and scope.
4. Manage RFIs, technical submittals, and attend design meetings to understand the project specifications and scope.
5. Fully understand the design requirements of each control system project, seek information where required, and then implement the control system design.
6. Gain knowledge of leading manufacturers' equipment/systems.
7. Review and modify designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
8. Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
9. Research material properties in large databases to identify the best materials for modeling.
10. Assist in project planning and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
11. Attend on-site visits as required.
What We're Looking For:
* Proficiency in CAD software.
* A qualification/background and interest within Engineering.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
* Proactive communicator who thrives in a team environment.
* Experience in engineering design principles and practices.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
