HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer (Nights)

We operate 24/7; therefore, flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts, are required. Full training, PPE, and equipment will be provided to ensure all drainage engineers are equipped to perform to high standards, regardless of background or experience.
Position Details:
* Role: Night HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer
* Location: Millbrook Depot, Southampton, Hampshire
* Type: Permanent, full-time
* Hours: 4 Nights On / 4 Nights Off, approx. 40.25 hours/week
* Salary: £39,500 per annum

Role Responsibilities:
1. Travel to sites via HGV in a two-person team, operating high-pressure water jets for drainage restoration
2. Maintain and clear drainage systems
3. Accurately record job details using specialist equipment
4. Run diagnostics and repair drains
5. Deliver excellent customer service
6. Follow health and safety practices, including PPE use and site safety
7. Manage vehicle stock and supplies
8. Operate VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
9. Operate vacuum tankers and associated equipment safely
10. Access sites and vehicles using correct procedures
11. Handle pipework safely, including loading/unloading
12. Work independently in all weather conditions, using PPE or lone worker systems
13. Assess risks dynamically on-site
14. Liaise with clients regarding progress and updates
15. Support colleagues as needed
16. Inspect tools and equipment regularly, report issues
17. Conduct risk assessments and follow policies
18. Perform other tasks as requested by management

Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum HGV Class 2 license
* Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* Up-to-date Digi Tacho card
* Respectful, hardworking, and safety-conscious
* Experience with high-pressure jetting equipment is a plus but not essential
* Drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA, Confined Spaces) are advantages
