The Role
Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne.
You’ll be responsible for managing HVAC and mechanical services projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple mechanical / HVAC projects simultaneously across the UK
* Oversee design coordination, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
* Liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and health & safety requirements.
* Prepare and manage project programmes, budgets, and progress reports.
* Provide technical support and leadership to site teams and engineers.
* Contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the HVAC / mechanical contracting industry.
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and mechanical building services.
* Excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g. MS Project).
* Full UK driving licence.
