You will be working in a well‑presented, luxury care home where food is a central part of residents' daily experience. As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in running the kitchen day‑to‑day, maintaining a consistent standard while ensuring meals are nutritious, well‑balanced, and prepared to a restaurant standard.
* Support the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
* Prepare and deliver meals that meet nutritional and dietary requirements
* Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
* Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
* Contribute to menu planning and development
* Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a professional kitchen is required.
* Experience working in a care home or similar environment is strongly preferred.
* This role is not suitable for candidates without experience managing kitchen standards and service.
