Role:
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Clinical Negligence Solicitor with the day-to-day management of a varied caseload, from initial instruction right through to settlement or trial. This role offers genuine exposure to claimant clinical negligence matters and the chance to build strong specialist knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with the preparation of witness statements
2. Reviewing medical records and producing detailed medical chronologies
3. Supporting the preparation of schedules of loss
4. Reviewing and analysing medical experts’ reports
5. Assisting with the initial triage and assessment of potential claims
6. Preparing case summaries and supporting documentation for legal expenses insurance applications
About You
7. A minimum of one year’s experience working within clinical negligence
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach aligned to core values
9. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
10. Able to manage a varied caseload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
