We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Carboline brand situated within the North of England. This position will be responsible for both selling and generating new business with already established customers while also developing new prospects to grow volume and revenue in this territory and outside, with focus on the Oil and Gas (Midstream and Downstream) and Renewable Energy sectors on both Protective Coatings and Fireproofing. We are seeking individuals with a hunters mentality and prior experience working in the paint and coatings industry. This position will report into the Tremco CPG UK, Sales Director. Duties Include: Responsible for calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume, to remain abreast of customer requirements and to assess market trends. Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc. Provides technical assistance when necessary. Responsible for securing and renewing orders; works with customer services and sales management to provide servicing levels required by the customer. Action existing sales strategy and/or build new within the territory and outside based on strategic planning including prospecting, new business development, levels of available business and level of repeat business. Works effectively with all company personnel and resources to provide full customer service and assure continuing customer satisfaction. Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects, competitors and the general market for use by company management in research, analysis and planning purposes. May act as a Field Technical Service Engineer as requested. Successful candidates will have the following: Experience working within Sales or Business Development in the Fireproofing or Protective Coatings industry. Knowledge of CRM Systems Excellent negotiation skills Salary & Benefits: A competitive annual salary.
