* Job Title: Samples Operative

* Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 P/A
* Job Type: Full-time, temp to perm opportunity
* Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm
HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Samples Operative to join our client's leading fabric design business, renowned for offering luxury wallpapers and accessories to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick and cut stock to fulfil sample orders, checking for quality and paying due regard to health and safety requirements
* Record information in written form and on the computer system and use the system to manage the ordering and distribution of samples
* Manual handling of stock, utilising two man lifts and sack trucks where appropriate
* Assisting with the picking, labelling, packing and shipping of samples to customers
* General department administrative tasks including post room duties
* Assist with maintenance duties for the site
Essential Skills:
* Ability to drive the company vans between sites, preferred but not essential
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
