About the Role
This Project Delivery Manager role sits within a water and wastewater capital delivery framework, leading projects from design handover through to construction and completion. Reporting into the Framework Manager, you will take responsibility for programme delivery, resource management and assurance across multiple schemes.
You will lead a team of Project Engineers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, while maintaining compliance with CDM regulations, environmental standards and client specifications. The role has a strong focus on health and safety leadership, quality control and stakeholder management across live construction environments.
Key Requirements
1. Lead the delivery of water and wastewater capital projects
2. Manage project teams and construction resources
3. Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and environmental legislation
4. Oversee quality assurance, ITPs and construction standards
5. Manage programme, cost and schedule performance
6. Act as a key interface with clients and stakeholders
Experience Required
7. Proven experience delivering water industry construction projects
8. Strong background in operational water or wastewater environments
9. Experience managing construction teams and subcontractors
10. Contract management experience within a framework environment
11. Working knowledge of CDM regulations
12. SMSTS or NEBOSH qualification
13. Full UK driving licence
Desirable Knowledge and Skills
14. Experience working in alliancing or collaborative frameworks
15. Strong planning and resource scheduling capability
16. Confident stakeholder and customer management skills
17. Ability to manage conflicting priorities in live delivery environments
