We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Workers to join a well-established 5-bed mixed-gender children's residential home in Stanford-le-Hope.
This is a full-time position, ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting children and young people in a nurturing, structured, and safe environment.
The home supports children and young people aged 8-18 with learning disabilities, focusing on promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive life outcomes.
👶 The Role
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will:
Provide high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people
Support with daily routines, personal care, education, and social development
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional resilience
Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards
Support young people in community activities, appointments, and outings
Work as part of a committed, supportive care team✅ Essential Requirements
Must be aged 22 or over
Full UK manual driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years
Previous experience within a residential or care setting
Right to work in the UK
Fully flexible and reliable
Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to safeguarding children🎓 Desirable
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, or sensory needs
