Job Title: Junior Sous Chef Location: RHS Garden Hyde Hall Salary: £29,019 per annum Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (any 5 days per 7 day period) Contract: Full time permanent contracted position As the UK's leading garden charity, our members and visitors have a high expectation of our catering outlets. That is why we are looking for a full time Chef de Partie to work at our in-house catering operation at RHS Garden Hyde Hall, Chelmsford Essex. Overview of the Role: you will be joining a team of chefs working predominantly for a daytime service, with no split shifts and few evenings, working across 3 kitchens the offer includes Street Food and BBQ options. this award-winning team deliver the highest standard of food using produce from our own garden. Our outlets include Gardeners Rest Restaurant and the Clover Café; the role requires availability at weekends and bank holidays. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must have own transport. A strong knowledge of food safety and handling as well as HACCP is essential.
