Responsibilities
* Oversee all financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and ledger management
* Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis
* Manage cost accounting processes, including raw materials, labour, and manufacturing overheads
* Monitor inventory valuation and stock control systems
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
* Support commercial decision‑making through financial analysis and reporting
* Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls
* Liaise with auditors, external accountants, and regulatory bodies
* Identify and mitigate financial risks
