Alongside this consultant job there are also opportunities to take on one of our leadership roles on a three-year basis within your workplan in your substantive consultant role:
1. Divisional Medical Director – Older Adults, Specialist and Children’s Services You will ensure the provision of high quality, efficient and effective services across the division. It will be your responsibility, in conjunction with leadership colleagues, to ensure the division delivers the Trust Strategy and enabling plans within the division and its care groups.
2. Clinical Director – Working Age Adults Community and Assessment Care Group You will provide medical leadership through a triumvirate leadership model to your care group and work collaboratively to improve quality, productivity and efficiency. You will work closely with the other care group leaders to realise the vision, values and strategic objectives of the Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a full time (PA ) Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry for the Derby City Wellbeing Service.
This post offers a varied job working closely with the multidisciplinary team. We put a high emphasis on quality of care, peer support and on clinical engagement in service development and management.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will take a key role in the Department of General Adult Psychiatry, providing clinical leadership to the teams with which they will be working and supporting current and future service developments.
The Consultant will work closely with their medical and non medical colleagues from the locality community, inpatient and liaison services and local specialist services to support crisis referrals and assessments and post discharge home treatment.
