You are a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with ICLEX or Law Society membership, possessing strong experience in housing law. You excel at managing a busy caseload independently and have exceptional communication, drafting, and advocacy skills. What the job involves Your role involves managing a live caseload of over 50 complex housing litigation matters. You will provide clear, practical legal advice to internal clients and represent the council in court proceedings, liaising with counsel as necessary. You will draft legal documents and respond to new instructions efficiently while supporting the wider team during high-demand periods. The role is hybrid, offering a mix of remote and in-office work based in Westminster.
