Overview Are you a proactive Teaching Assistant or SEN Learning Support Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs? This full-time role in Preston is a strong September opportunity for someone who can provide calm, consistent support across the school day. You’ll support a Year 4 class in the morning, then provide 1:1 support for a child with behavioural needs in the afternoon. This role would suit someone resilient, patient and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations. Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting. Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere. Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school. Candidate Profile Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector. Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
