Regional Senior Employee Relations Advisor
We’re delighted to be working with a fast-paced, multi-site business to recruit a regionally based Senior ER Advisor covering the South. This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days a week visiting various branches across the Southern region with the remaining week working from home.
Working as part of a larger HR team, you’ll take an active part in guiding and supporting managers on a range of ER issues, coaching them on how to handle cases confidently and compliantly. You'll be utilising your knowledge of employment legislation, policy and best practice to guide and advise them through a range of complex ER cases, ensuring you offer a value-added advisory service on all people management matters.
Key elements of the role include:
* Coaching and upskilling managers on all things ER, supporting them through various situations including grievances, disciplinaries, conduct, absence management and performance.
* Operating as an escalation point for more complex ER cases.
* Advising and guiding on HR policies and procedures.
* Working with the HRBPs to support organisational change initiatives such as TUPE.
* Undertaking various project work, including identifying ER trends.
* Preparing documentation for employment tribunal as and when required.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and policy reviews.
You’ll have previous experience of working in an ER role, within a commercial, multi-site business and be used to operating at pace and managing multiple cases. In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate:
* A strong understanding of employment law and best practices.
* Previous experience of supporting redundancy processes.
* Strong relationship building skills.
* Ability to juggle multiple priorities, adopting a customer-focused mindset.
* A willingness to travel to other locations.
