We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join an expanding People Team based near Bishop's Stortford on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this key role, you’ll provide expert HR advice and guidance, ensuring policies and processes are applied consistently across the organisation. Acting as a trusted partner to managers, you will lead on employee relations matters, influence people decisions, and support organisational change.

Your new role
1. Provide expert HR advice to managers, ensuringpliance with employment law,pany policies, and best practice
2. Lead on employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, and absence management
3. Coach and upskill managers to build confidence in people management and support adoption of the ER Case Management system
4. Analyse workforce data and present insights and rmendations to senior stakeholders
5. Build and maintain constructive relationships with Trade Unions, supporting consultation and negotiation activity
6. Drive operational excellence in HR processes, improving efficiency and service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
7. Strong HR generalist experience with in-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
8. Proven experience managing a range of employee relations cases, includingplex or high-risk situations
9. The ability to influence and coach senior managers, shaping people-related decisions
10. Experience supporting organisational change (restructures and redundancies; TUPE desirable)
11. A track record of working effectively with Trade Unions
12. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present clear insights
13. CIPD Level 5 (working towards Level 7 desirable) or equivalent experience
14. A collaborative, resilient approach with the ability to managepeting priorities
15. High attention to detail and accuracy
