Job Vacancy: Business Support Officer
Location: Princess Christian Care Centre, Knaphill, Bisley Woking Surrey GU21 2SJ
Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Rate of Pay: £17 per hour
We are looking for a reliable, organised and experienced Business Support Officer to provide essential operational and administrative support to our Home Manager. This role is central to the efficient, compliant and professional running of the service.
About the Role:
As our Business Support Officer, you will support the Home Manager with the daily operations of the home by completing key weekly and monthly tasks, maintaining accurate records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring the home remains compliant and well-organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete weekly occupancy, agency and payroll submissions on time.
- Maintain accurate rotas and staffing information.
- Update personnel files, complete monthly audits and support HR processes.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and new starter documentation.
- Support finance tasks including invoices, petty cash, budget sheets and meeting minutes.
- Maintain resident administration including contracts, enquiries and bed lists.
- Keep training compliance and annual records up-to-date.
- Provide a professional front-of-house presence and coordinate office tasks.
- Handle sensitive information in line with GDPR and confidentiality standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strong administrative experience in a busy environment.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills.
- Confident working with sensitive information and maintaining accuracy.
- Skilled communicator able to build positive relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn internal systems.
- Ability to work independently and to deadlines.
- Previous healthcare or care sector experience (desirable).
- Knowledge of GDPR.
