The Role:
As a Private Client Legal Secretary, you will provide key administrative and secretarial support to fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth progression of client files and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and formatting legal documents such as wills, probate forms, and LPA documentation
* Managing diaries, appointments, and meetings for solicitors
* Liaising with clients by phone, email, and in person with professionalism and discretion
* Assisting with file opening, closure, and archiving in line with compliance protocols
* Supporting with billing and time recording
* General administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining filing systems
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a Private Client legal support role is essential
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Professional, compassionate, and client-focused communication style
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
