DSL and Pupil/Family Support Co-ordinator
Due to the retirement of our current postholder, we are keen to appoint a replacement to commence January 2026.
Our children are looking for someone who:
1. Is cheerful, kind and caring.
2. Is there to listen to their worries.
3. Helps them to keep themselves safe.
4. Has an understanding of children and their needs
You will be able to demonstrate:
5. Empathy, sensitivity and passion for the safeguarding and well-being of young people.
6. A thorough knowledge of relevant legislative and policy frameworks relating to the safeguarding and protection of children.
7. An understanding of the role of agencies involved in such work.
8. An ability to analyse key information.
9. A problem-solving approach and an ability to manage your own time under pressure.
10. Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Specific training, if necessary, will be available for someone with the relevant skills and experience.
