Overview
This is a customer facing role within the Seafarer Operations team. We aim to deliver a high level of customer service by ensuring that certificates issued to seafarers and in respect of vessels comply with the relevant legislative requirements and are issued accurately within the time frame of our service level agreements.
Base pay range
Salary: £29,525 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%
This is a customer facing role within the Seafarer Operations team. We aim to deliver a high level of customer service by ensuring that certificates issued to seafarers and in respect of vessels comply with the relevant legislative requirements and are issued accurately within the time frame of our service level agreements.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing a team within Seafarers Certification and Training section.
* Oversee the processing and issuance of applications from seafarers leading to Certificates of Competency and other Certifications.
* Managing the performance and productivity of a team of direct reports and ensuring quality standards are met.
* Customer Service and Stakeholder management.
* Team Management.
* Quality.
* Branch Management.

About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
* Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Customer Service experience
* Working in an office environment as part of a team
