Product Commissioning Engineer
Location: MiTec, 1st Floor, Unit 9 Silverwood Business Park, 70 Silverwood Road, Lurgan, Craigavon, County Armagh, BT66 6SY, UK.
Salary: £41,097 per annum.
Shift Pattern: Full time, 40 hours per week. Working 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Thursday 3pm‑1am. 100% office based.

Key Purpose of the Job
Provide customer and engineering support, build site configurations into the headend server infrastructure, and support commissioning of a variety of Electronic Security systems.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to end users and engineers both internally and externally.
* Schedule and deliver prompt and accurate information.
* Prioritise workload and meet contractual deadlines.
* Answer engineer telephone calls ensuring internal customer service standards are met.
* Handle reasonable requests from line supervisors and Head of Service.
* Provide support to the Security Control Centre Team when required.
Essential Requirements for the Job
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Fire and Security Multi‑discipline Engineer, or experience in security products including Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, or a Network Security discipline with VPN and VLAN knowledge.
* Customer‑focused attitude.
* Good PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft products.
* Excellent telephone manner for remote diagnostics and collaboration with on‑site engineer teams.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads to meet SLA requirements.
* Experience with network/IP‑based products.
Desirable Requirements for the Job
* Experience with CSL signalling devices in intrinsic intruder alarm systems.
* Experience working on enterprise‑wide networked CCTV systems.
* Experience with remote programming of industry standards in enterprise‑wide networked access control systems.
Desirable Product Knowledge / Experience
* AMAG Symmetry Access Control, Gallagher, Nedap.
* Milestone CCTV.
* Deister Key Management System.
* Allied Telesis.

Applicants must successfully pass a PSNI check as per BS5979 and BS7858 screening and must currently hold or be able to obtain SC clearance.
