The Role

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a full-time Class Teacher to join the school from September 2026. Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers as well as teachers on the main pay scale.

In this role, you will plan, deliver and assess learning that is carefully differentiated to meet the needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will create a structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.

Working alongside teaching assistants and colleagues across the school, you will contribute to a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. You will monitor pupil progress, support effective communication with parents and carers, and play an important role in helping the school continue to develop its provision for pupils with diverse needs.

What We’re Looking For

1. Qualified Teacher Status
2. Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs
3. Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team
4. Strong planning, assessment and differentiation skills
5. Ability to teach across a wide age and ability range
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work effectively with teaching assistants and other colleagues
8. Positive approach to supporting behaviour and pupil wellbeing
9. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
10. Commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils to reach their full potential
