Position description / Job description
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
Provide individual and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Prepare and organise learning resources and materials.
Supervise students during activities and breaks.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians.
Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.
Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
You possess an Enhanced DBS check on the updated service.
You have full eligibility to work in the UK.
You have a minimum of 6 months of UK work experience in an educational setting working with primary-aged children.
You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You possess patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You have strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
Relevant educational qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
