We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching assistant to support special needs children in a specialist school based in Knaresborough. You will be supporting children with special needs in a full time position from Monday through Friday (8:30AM - 3:30PM).

2. Capable of supporting learning in one-on-one and small group settings.
3. Effectively communicate and collaborate with the class teacher.
4. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication when working with children.
5. Adjust teaching approaches to accommodate various learning styles and individual needs.
6. Possess knowledge of behaviour management techniques to foster positive behaviour.
Requirements:
7. The assurance to assess educational requirements and actively explore innovative teaching approaches.
8. Readiness and capacity to adjust to evolving situations.
9. The capability to offer personalised attention, assurance, and aid with educational tasks.
10. A solid comprehension of child development and the learning process.
11. Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
12. Proficiency in the national Key Stage Curriculum.
13. Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided).
