Overview
Hours: 25 hours per week. Shift Pattern: full flexibility required with alternate weekends. Shifts are a mix of 7:30–15:00 and 14:30–22:00. You are also required to work bank holidays.

Our care workers are the heartbeat of the Watermill, assisting residents with personal care needs, providing interaction and activities, and supporting residents in administering medication.
We are looking for people who are passionate, supportive, patient and who love working with people. No prior experience in care is necessary, but a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide assistance with personal care and daily living activities, including washing, bathing, dressing, and getting residents up in the morning and ready for the day; support with evening routines.
* Support residents with household and domestic tasks (laundry, shopping, cleaning) and assist with financial transactions where required.
* Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed; encourage and enable residents to follow agreed care plans.
* Promote resident wellbeing and care quality; communicate progress to managers and relevant agencies.
* Assist with medication administration as required.
About you / Qualifications
* All you need is a kind and friendly attitude, good written and verbal English communication skills, and a genuine desire to help people.
* Commitment to undertake necessary further training.
* Reliability and flexibility, ability to use initiative, and to remain calm under pressure.
* No prior experience or formal qualifications required; training and qualifications are provided, with opportunities to progress via the Extra Care Academy.
