Responsibilities
* Lead and manage complex contracts and supplier relationships.
* Interpret contract law and procurement regulations confidently.
* Deliver contract management training and guidance across departments.
* Negotiate effectively and resolve performance issues.
* Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with procurement legislation.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders.
Experience
Previous practical experience managing strategic contracts and supplier performance is essential. Experience in developing contract management systems, advising on procurement strategy, and working within a local authority setting is desirable.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold or be working towards MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) or an equivalent qualification.

Location: Castle Point Borough Council, Benfleet. Job Title: Contracts Management Officer. Full Time – 37 hours per week. Grade 7 – SCP 27-31 = £38,220 - £41,771.
