About the Role: Production planning and scheduling Assisting and providing production feedback and information to the planner for effective production scheduling Owning and delivering on present KPIS, Specifically % wages Yield and product waste, service level Production efficiencies- Holding production supervisors and team leaders to account on production efficiencies and shift targets ensuring the factory starts on time and production is kept on plan Staff management including disciplinaries up to and including termination- Ensuring the staff comply with all terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures, technical compliance, investigating noncompliance of the above and management of disciplinaries up to and including termination of contract should this be required Staff training and development Ensuring Staff are trained and are floor ready. Health and safety Keep updated with the Health and Safety Program and help in implementing the changes. Hygiene and cleaning team- Management of the cleaning team and recruitment thereof, ensuring site standards are maintained and exceeded Recruitment (up to production manager)- ensuring manning levels are correct through recruitment process Ensuring technical compliance across all aspects of production- maintaining and ensuring all production ops are following the technical guidelines, policies, and procedures Amenities and facilities management Ensuring upkeep of factory and site amenities in a good sate of repair About You: Previous Experience as a Factory Manager (Minimum 2 years) Keen to learn and progress. A motivator with ability to build and maintain an excellent team.
