Responsibilities
* Preparing surfaces and carrying out NDT methods including Magnetic, Penetrant, Acid Etch Inspection and Material Evaluation
* Ensuring all processing complies with customer requirements, specifications, and drawings
* Cleaning and maintaining NDT equipment
* Maintaining accurate process documentation and departmental control logs
* Inspecting processed parts and notifying customers of any significant NDT failures
* Supporting the training of new NDT Inspectors when required
Experience
* Previous experience as a Trainee NDT Inspector, ideally within Magnetic and Penetrant processes to NAS410 or EN4179 standards (for experienced applicants)
* Previous work in a workshop or factory environment (advantageous for trainees)
* Understanding of surface preparation and safe handling methods
* Confidence operating NDT equipment and monitoring process controls
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach
* Awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards within an NDT environment
