About the role

Office Administrator

Start date: ASAP

Hours of work 36 per week, Term Time Only, start and finish times to be agreed.

Interviews will take place Tuesday 16th September 2025.

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and organised Office Administrator to join our busy school office. This is a key role in helping the school run smoothly and efficiently, ensuring a warm welcome for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are looking for someone who:

* Creates a happy, calm and positive first impression for all visitors

* Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders, including external providers

* Has excellent communication skillswhether face-to-face, on the phone or via email

* Is confident and competent using IT and office systems

* Is highly organised, maintaining an efficient and tidy office environment

* Keeps records and paperwork up to date, ensuring compliance at all times


You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of general administration duties in support of the activities of the school including dealing with the schools financial transactions, assisting with the administration of admissions and school trips, and other general administrative support. In addition, you will spend some of your time working on a busy reception: welcoming visitors to the school, taking phone calls and messages and responding to telephone, email and face to face enquiries from parents, staff, pupils and visitors.

Knowledge of SIMs management system is desirable but not essential.

About Broadwalk Green

Broadwalk Green is a Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit. All pupils have been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are at risk of such.

The aim of the PRU is to deliver a provision that enables the pupils to make good or better progress and to improve their life chances. There is a focus on re-integration back into mainstream whenever appropriate.
