As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring accommodation units and equipment are repaired, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards minimising downtime and keeping customer operations running smoothly.

About You
We’re looking for someone who can bring technical capability, a proactive approach, and a commitment to high standards.
You will ideally have:
* NVQ/CITB qualification (or equivalent)
* Generator and electrical experience (desirable)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Fitter or similar role
* Strong understanding of 12v and 240v electrical systems
* Previous experience with generators, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Full clean UK driving licence
This role is well suited to multi-skilled fitters, and we strongly welcome applications from candidates with a forces background.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Repairing, overhauling, and maintaining accommodation generators both on-site and at depot locations
* Responding to customer breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
* Servicing equipment to meet hire commitments
* General maintenance and refurbishment of accommodation units
* Liaising with Stores to ensure stock levels (timber, boarding, lino, etc.) are kept up
* Recording customer damage and raising appropriate chargeable paperwork
* Salvaging usable parts from repair or scrap units
* Carrying out electrical, joinery, plumbing, and minor welding tasks as needed
* Painting and preparing accommodation units
* Ensuring tools, equipment, and spray gear are properly maintained, tested, cleaned, and stored
