Behaviour Mentor - Barking & Dagenham
Start: SeptemberType: Full-Time | Long-TermPay: £100-£130 per day
We are recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work in specialist provisions across Barking & Dagenham, supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
These roles are active, fast-paced and require staff who can build relationships quickly while maintaining calm and consistency.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
* Working 1:1 and in small groups across the school day
* Helping students access learning in a structured way
* Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
* Supporting daily routines and transitions
What we're looking for:
* Experience in youth work, sports coaching, education or support roles
* Confident, energetic but calm under pressure
* Ability to build rapport quickly with young people
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Resilient and proactive attitude
