Baling Plant Operative
Location: Winsford
Join us as a Baling Plant Operative and be part of our End-of-Life Vehicle recycling process.
Baling Plant Operatives play a vital role in our End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling process. Responsibilities include ,Driving scrap handling machines, Operating Bailer all while adhering to health and safety regulations and receiving specific training.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Operate the solmec or similar machine
• Operate the Bailer
• Ensure that the Bailing/solmec machine is well maintained and serviced, including the oiling greasing cleaning is carried out and maintained
• Ensure that all works are undertaken in accordance with health and safety standards, that all tools, equipment used are properly maintained in accordance with best practice, any waste spills dealt with, and that the workplace is kept in a clean, safe and tidy condition at all times
• Ensure that all paperwork as required are completed accurately and on time
• Provide cover for any other appropriate and any other duties as may be required
Skills & Experience Required:
• Experience of working in a similar environment
• Knowledge of checking oils and other hazardous chemicals
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Forklift truck license -counterbalance and telescopic (not Required but Preferred)
• 360 Tracked Excavator
