As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the next generation of AI‑driven solutions across our business. You’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end projects — from gathering requirements and defining the approach, through to building, deploying and measuring real‑world impact. Working with mature AI products already used by hundreds of colleagues, you’ll operate at the forefront of our cloud and GenAI ecosystem, using cutting‑edge tools to drive meaningful innovation. Main Responsibilities as a Senior AI Engineer:
1. Help shape the AI roadmap across use cases and technology.
2. Work with stakeholders to understand processes and data, identifying high‑value GenAI opportunities.
3. Contribute to scalable, innovative AI delivery as part of the Data Science & AI team.
4. Collaborate with a cross‑functional squad — DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers and Infosec — to productionise AI services in AWS.
5. You’ll be a key technical mentor within the team, helping to guide junior engineers and elevate our engineering standards.
Skills and experience you need as a Senior AI Engineer:
6. Experience delivering AI into production, solving real commercial problems and measuring impact.
7. A self‑starter with a track record of taking research and models through to production to drive clear business and customer value.
8. Skilled at balancing quick delivery with longer‑term capability building.
9. Able to communicate confidently and credibly across all levels of the business, from individual contributors to the C‑suite.
10. Able to work independently and efficiently to deliver projects on time, taking project briefs and refining them to strong results
