This position provides a range of services using evidence-based practices that support client treatment and facilitate safe, secure, and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic alliances, applying clinical skills, conducting diagnostic and comprehensive assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing daily interventions.
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities
* Manage and support supervisees regarding diagnosing, treatment planning, conducting therapy, care coordination, client termination, and all other aspects of the Mental Health Practitioner role
* Maintain a caseload of 13-16 clients and oversee 6-8 supervisees
* Review and provide timely feedback (within three business days) on all supervisee documentation, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Offer constructive guidance on documentation skills
* Attend required supervisory meetings (Supervision of Supervision, case consults, weekly supervision with supervisees). Facilitate weekly staff case consults as needed
* Keep records of supervision sessions and submit monthly to admin staff
* Manage your schedule effectively to support supervisee learning and development
* Represent CARE positively and model professional behavior with internal and external professionals
* Develop a Supervision Plan and Learning Contract with each supervisee
* Support supervisee growth through strengths-based, reflective supervision and case consultation
* Lead, plan, or participate in Clinical Trainee Training Day and related events as required
* Arrange supervisor coverage during planned or unexpected absences and provide coverage for other supervisors as needed

Required Qualifications
* Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science or related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Education, etc.)
* Active, Licensed Independent Clinician in MN (LMFT)
* LMFT Licensed Clinical Supervisor with board approval to supervise Mental Health Practitioners and Clinical Trainees
* At least 2 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Professional
* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work onsite or in a hybrid model (at least 3 days onsite with a suitable home workspace and high-speed internet)
Preferred Qualifications
* Over 1 year of experience as an LMFT Clinical Supervisor
* Experience in outpatient mental health settings
* Proficiency in clinical documentation and Electronic Health Record systems like Athena
* Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and caseload management
* Ability to interpret reports, regulations, and policies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Knowledge of mental illness impacts and multidisciplinary treatment approaches
The salary range is $71,600 to $140,600 annually, based on full-time employment and factors such as location, education, experience, and certifications.
