Offer description

Are you a passionate and driven solicitor ready to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives? Join CL Medilaw, a leading catastrophic injury and medical negligence team dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by life-changing injuries. We are expanding our catastrophic injury team and are seeking a Grade C Solicitor (NQ to 4 years) with a background in claimant catastrophic injury work. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team handling the most complex, high value cases. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced fee earners in an environment where your contribution is recognized and valued. We actively encourage and support team members to develop their career and promotional path within the CL Medilaw and Knights group. We are looking for individuals with strong technical ability, excellent client care skills, an empathetic approach, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. The team currently operates out of 10 regional offices, and you’ll be based in either our Oxford or Reading offices. More about CL Medilaw:- We pride ourselves in doing things differently. The “CL” in our name stands for “Changing Lives”: it’s what we do; it’s how we do it; and it’s why we do it. We are driven by putting our clients first and committed to giving back to local and national charities, who support our clients and their families through the most challenging circumstances, when they have suffered medical negligence or serious injury. We represent clients across the UK and are recognised experts acting for those who have suffered a birth injury, brain injury, amputation, spinal injury, delay in diagnosing cancer and fatal injuries. We provide a holistic service to our clients with our involvement often including deputyship and trusts, and education and welfare advice. The level of expertise in our team is recognised by accreditations from The Law Society, AvMA, APIL and the Brain Injury Group. The success of CL Medilaw is derived from our one-team and client centred approach to our cases and the business as a whole. We are not monitored or driven by financial targets but by achieving the best outcome for our clients. The success of the team means we are looking to expand and we are looking for talented professionals who share our values. Although the roles below are an immediate requirement, we will consider applications that reflect our culture at all levels. CL Medilaw is a trading name of Knights Professional Services Limited. Knights is the fastest growing, legal and professional services business with a unique culture. A distinct separation between management and professional advisors means we are always working in the best interests of our clients and colleagues.
