Sales Administrator Team LeadOverviewVANRATH are pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established organisation within the commercial vehicle sector to appoint a Sales Administrator Team Lead. This position plays a pivotal role within the aftersales function, ensuring the seamless coordination of sales orders, deliveries, and internal support across multiple teams.Acting as a key point of contact between customers, sales, logistics, and procurement, the successful candidate will help drive operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of customer service.Working HoursFull-time position / 40 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 / A degree of flexibility will be required in line with business demandsThe RoleOversee the day-to-day running of the sales administration function, ensuring workflows are efficient and deadlines are consistently metAct as a central liaison between internal departments to support the smooth fulfilment of customer ordersReview and process sales documentation, ensuring accuracy across pricing, product details, and availabilityWork closely with distribution teams to coordinate dispatch schedules and resolve any delivery-related queriesProvide ongoing support to the sales function, including handling queries around quotations, stock, and lead timesTrack order progression and communicate updates clearly to both customers and internal stakeholdersTake ownership of resolving any issues relating to delays, discrepancies, or stock shortages in a timely mannerMaintain and update internal systems to ensure all product and pricing information remains currentCollaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement and finance to improve overall service deliveryContribute to promotional activities and assist in rolling out sales initiatives across the product rangeSupport continuous improvement by identifying gaps in processes and suggesting practical enhancementsAssist in expanding the product offering through market awareness and identification of new opportunitiesCarry out additional administrative or operational duties as requiredThe PersonExperience leading or supervising a team within a fast-paced environment is advantageousStrong background in sales support or customer service, ideally within a similar industryGood understanding of how field-based sales teams operate and the support they requireKnowledge of commercial vehicle parts or experience within motor factors is essentialCommercially aware with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsConfident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships across departmentsStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindsetAbility to prioritise workload effectively and remain organised under pressureHigh attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasksComfortable working independently and taking initiative where requiredExperience collaborating with multiple departments to achieve shared objectivesCompetent in producing reports and analysing data to support performance improvementsStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, and OutlookFull, valid driving licenceDesirable CriteriaPrevious experience working with CRM systems or similar platforms would be beneficialSkills:Sales Administration Sales Admin Team Lead Supervisor Manager AutomotiveBenefits:Great benefits and progressionWHJS1_NI
