NHS Tayside covers the Angus, Dundee, and Perth & Kinross localities, serving a population of 414,000, employing over 14,000 staff. We work collaboratively with our three Integration Joint Boards and other stakeholders; local authorities, universities, and third sector partners. We provide a comprehensive range of services across primary care, community services, and acute hospitals, including one of the four teaching hospitals in Scotland.

Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the post holder will have lead responsibility for ensuring a robust management accounts service. As a member of the Senior Finance Team, you will assist in delivering all financial targets and lead specific aspects of the strategic and operational financial management agenda across NHS Tayside.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in a senior finance role
* Extensive knowledge of the local finance agenda and NHS Tayside's strategic objectives
* Experience in completing financial elements of business cases and contracts
* Ability to work autonomously and creatively solve problems
Additional Requirements
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
