Account Manager
Location: Portsmouth, UK
What You’ll Do
* Own your portfolio of global enterprise and OEM accounts – driving retention, renewals, expansion, and advocacy.
* Lead account strategy: build growth plans, run QBRs, and set joint success metrics with customers and partners.
* Drive expansion: identify and execute upsell/cross‑sell opportunities across software, subscriptions, and services.
* Champion customer success: increase product adoption through tailored onboarding, enablement, and adoption campaigns.
* Manage renewals and risk: protect and grow ARR through proactive engagement and data‑led insights.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally: partner with Product, Marketing, and Solution Architects to deliver customer success.
* Represent Loadbalancer.org globally: attend key partner and industry events (up to 6 trips per year).
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise Sales focused on existing accounts.
* Proven success managing complex enterprise or OEM relationships with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills, experienced in renewals, growth planning, and business justification.
* Excellent communicator – skilled at running QBRs, executive briefings, and strategic reviews.
* Analytical mindset with CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent) and solid forecasting discipline.
* Relationship builder with curiosity, resilience, and strategic insight.
