Store Person - £14 per hour - Sandy, Bedfordshire Key Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials in line with quality and documentation requirements. • Perform visual inspections of components to identify defects, damage, or irregularities. • Carry out de-burring tasks on parts to meet defined quality standards. • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch. • Maintain up-to-date inventory records using internal systems and software. • Store products safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures. • Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to support inventory accuracy. • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient material flow. • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment. • Utilise the Sage ERP system to manage and process purchase orders and book goods in. ________________________________________ Skills & Qualifications • Experience using Sage or similar ERP systems to maintain inventory and support purchasing functions (preferred). • Proven experience in warehouse, stores, or logistics operations. • Strong attention to detail, particularly when inspecting or handling components. • Experience with visual inspection processes as part of quality control. • Ability to perform de-burring tasks using appropriate hand or power tools. • Basic comp...
