Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for the flexibility of supply work? We are seeking dedicated HLTAs to support primary schools across Selby, delivering high-quality support to pupils and teachers on a supply basis.
About the Role
As an HLTA, you will:
* Provide classroom support and cover for teachers when required.
* Deliver small group interventions or 1:1 support for pupils.
* Support the delivery of engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to foster a positive learning environment.
* Adapt to various schools, classes, and year groups with confidence.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualifications.
* Has previous experience working within primary education (EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2).
* Is confident in delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence.
* Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Is adaptable, reliable, and passionate about supporting children's education.
